Become A Christian

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

Step 1.
Have faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Repent.
Believe Jesus Christ is Lord and died for you. Be sorry for your sins and recognize
your need for the Savior as in Acts 3:19. Determined to turn from sin and give your
life completely to Him.

Step 2.
Be baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ.
Be buried with Him by total immersion in water. Have the saving name of Jesus
Christ pronounced over you as in Acts 22:16. Obtain remission of sins in baptism
through obedience and faith in His name.

Step 3.
Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Believe God has promised it and that you can receive it as in Acts 2:4. You receive
the gift of God's Spirit to live in you, enabling you to resist temptation and sin, to
understand God's power. (Acts 2:4)

You continue to live every day in a way that is holy, seeking the leading of God in
your words and actions. You enjoy His presence, His joy, His blessings as you
reach out to meet the needs of others, and by your example, help them to know
God.
